| | The Sunset Grill. What a delightful place, a neighborhood sort of bistro, high wood ceilings, original art by a local artist on the walls, clean. Downright elegant. Great desserts. A menu with burgers and juicy steaks, fresh seafood, salads. Fair prices, a little high for the burger, quite reasonable for that beautiful strip steak. Some pretty snazzy Italian cooking, too. And, a welcoming bar where neighbors are hanging out.

| | What owners Terry Marince and Matt Reber had done with this place -- '60s-style upholstery and faux baroque mirrors, bold modern paintings, cozy bar area. We ordered Chef Terry's Senaglase Chicken Curry Soup, Gazpacho, Key lime-grilled Chicken Salad. And then there was that "Hummingbird Cake," sort of like a carrot cake with pineapple and nuts just gone straight to heaven.
