Sunset Bar and Grill is located in Northwood. This coastal community spans from Northwood Road to 59th Street, Australian Ave. to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Many of the homes in Northwood were built during the Florida land boom in the 1920's for many of the prominent business men of the era. The Old Northwood area was the most exclusive community this side of Palm Beach, with prominent architects such as John Volk, William King, and Henry Stephen Harvey its designing homes. Located a mile and a half from downtown West Palm Beach and across the Intercoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island, Northwood was touted as a grand place to live.
Today, there is a Renaissance of the community as many people realize its great location, quality of construction and individual uniqueness cannot be duplicated.
